Judith Richardson and Charles Le Pierrès, owners of Montreal-based Judith & Charles, a high-end clothing manufacturer and retailer, have been in business in Canada for 26 years. “The instinct to design and manufacture 90 percent of the collection locally means we’re both homegrown and supportive of the local economy,” says Richardson, who serves as both vice-president and creative director.
