Find your summer scent

1. Put aside your oriental fragrance in favour of something floral, aquatic, citrus or fruity, and choose lighter formulations. "Eaux de toilette or scented body lotions are best in warmer months," says Canadian perfumer Susanne Lang.
2. Heat intensiï¬es scent, so wear less. Spritz one wrist then gently pat wrists together (don't rub – it ruins the fragrance).
3. Carry a travel-size bottle of scent for a boost later in the day.
4. Layer your scent. "Wear one fragrance over another or apply in two different places for a unique effect," says Lang.
