Call it an occupational hazard, but I find it really hard to live in the (fashion) moment. It's embarrassing to admit it but I've had a mental spring shopping/wish list since late October. And with the start of New York Fashion Week I've even started an early wish list  for fall11/12. Obsessive much? Kinda.

The most prevailing prints that sauntered down the spring/summer/11  runways were a mix of vibrant colourful stripes, bold blooms and a hodgepodge of tropical fruits. Yes, tropical fruits, I swear it looks nothing like your uncle's cruise wear. I've always been a sucker for a horizontal stripe so I see lots of striped purchases in my near future, but I'm also intrigued my the whimsical fruit prints.
