Adorable otters, elephants, seals and other Oregon Zoo animals have been frolicking in the snow this week. Too bad the public couldn't be there!

The Oregon Zoo has taken social media by storm this week to document some of their beloved and beautiful animals taking full advantage of the weather. 

Due to the first snowfall of 2017, the Portland zoo has been closed to the public for the past week. But that hasn't stopped them from posting heartwarming photos and videos of their residents testing out the big piles of snow, and they really seem to be having fun! 

Polar bear Nora, harbor seals, sea otters and Samudra the Asian elephant are just some of the animals documented by the Oregon Zoo Twitter account.
