I may be risking sounding like a party pooper, but I really don't like loot bags. I don't like buying them, and I don't like when the kids bring them home. However, I do like sending party guests home with a "thank you for coming" gift. So, I am always looking for alternatives to the "traditional" loot bag. My latest creation... a cupcake with a little surprise. Fun, right? We had a "Star Wars" party, but this idea could easily be adapted to fit any party theme. All I did was:  make cupcakes, frost them, and stick a plastic ring into the top.   {If you are looking for cupcake inspiration, you can find some great recipes here.}  Then, I wrapped the cupcakes in clear treat bags, tied them with ribbon, and added a "thank you for coming to my party" note. Do you have a great loot bag alternative?  I'd love to hear about it.  :-)
