What's so grand about Budapest hotels? In a word: lots. If you've not treated yourself to a screening of Wes Anderson's hilarious flick, Grand Budapest Hotel, I urge you to check it out. Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel and Adrien Brody deliver some of the quirkiest lines. And that's just a taste of the cast. You've also got the wit of Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, F. Murray Abraham, Jude Law, Jeff Goldblum... It's a true cast of characters, reminiscent of the hotel staff I encountered in Budapest back in my backpacking days. Mind you, the places I stayed in then were of a different star rating. So what makes Budapest hotels so grand to inspire a movie? These photos speak for themselves.
