Do you do date nights?
Since we've had kids (and it's been 16 years), my husband and I have rarely gone out on a date night.
We've always been told that it's something we should do for ourselves as a couple, as a way of keeping our marriage strong – but we've never really felt it necessary.
We much prefer to sit on the couch after the kids are in bed, enjoying a cup of coffee and each other's company.

So, when I came across this article – "Are 'date nights' overrated? This power couple thinks so" – I could totally relate.
A British power couple believes that date nights are overrated. Labour MPs Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper say they never go out as a couple without their three kids.
"Our view is that the times we're off work, we want to be with the children," says Balls.
They also believe that they are stronger as a couple because of it.
I wholeheartedly agree.
What are your thoughts on date nights?
Do you believe they are important in keeping your marriage strong?
