Bamboo is a resilient plant that spreads with weedlike ease, making it one of the most sustainable plants for human consumption. Yarn made from bamboo, if not treated with chemicals, can fully biodegrade.

Easiest-ever eco-friendly soft and silky scarf
You need:
4 balls (each 50 g) Sirdar Snuggly Baby
Bamboo yarn, in desired colour*
Two 4 mm needles or whichever needles you need to produce the tension given below
*We used Cherry Lips 142

Tension:
22 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in stocking stitch using recommended yarn.
To save time take time, to check tension.

To make;
Cast on 35 stitches.
Row 1: *K1, p1, k1, p1, k1, k5. Repeat from * two times. K1, p1, k1, p1, k1.
Row 2: **K1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p5. Repeat from ** two times. K1, p1, k1, p1, k1.
Repeat these two rows until scarf is 150 cm (60 inches) long or until you reach desired length. Cast off.
