Hi friends, One of my favourite websites is this joy+ride, an online journal of sorts that comes out once every two weeks. Co-curators Shari and Sheri interview all sorts of creative souls – from poets and photographers to pizza makers – and this week they interviewed Andrea Dorfman. Although I never met Andrea when I lived in Halifax, we had several friends in common, and so I was very excited to see her name on the current issue of this joy+ride. Then I watched the video, "Tilting Quilting," that was included in her interview. I couldn't wait to share it with you today. It's lovely. As Andrea describes it:

"right now i am on Fogo Island, Newfoundland in the north Atlantic. on September 12th, everyone who had handmade quilts in the town of Tilting, hung them out on their clotheslines for all to see. voila!"
