Every season has its perks, but I think fall is my favourite, and as a crafter, I don't think I'm alone. After all, when fall arrives, so does sweater season; and soon after that it's mitten season, then scarf and hat season. I love revisiting all my old favourites, and planning new projects. (Speaking of old favourites, check out that spread from Canadian Living in May 1978! As for new favourites, have you seen the 10th anniversary issue of Knitty?) Fall's arrival also means that I can sit inside and knit without feeling guilty about missing a beautiful day outside. Cool, rainy days were made for curling up with a project and a cup of tea.
