Pretty fruit holiday ornament

You need:
• Artificial fruit, such as apples
• Artificial leaves (salvaged from an old ornament or wreath)
• Spray paint (shown here: Rust-oleum Painter’s Touch in grey and green, and Valspar Brilliant Metals in silver)
• 24-gauge silver wire
• Clear faceted beads
• Clear self-adhesive rhinestones
• Metallic silver ribbon
• Glue gun and glue sticks
• Scissors and wire
• Cardboard box

To make:
1. Set fruit and leaves in cardboard box outdoors or in well-ventilated room; spray with desired colour(s).
2. When dry, decorate fruit with wire, beads and ribbon as desired, using glue gun to adhere decorations.
3. To make beaded hanging loop, cut 12 cm (5-inch) length of wire; string with beads, leaving approx 1 cm (½-inch) length of wire at both ends. Twist ends together; wrap around and hot glue to stem of fruit.
