Hi friends, I'm happy to report that I'm finally caught up on the blocks for my virtual quilting bee. The last block I made was for Carmen, who is going to make a quilted forest – each of us made her a different tree! I used the fabrics she sent to make a raw-edge appliqué tree that looks distinctly autumnal. October is my month, and I mailed out the packages with my fabric in them yesterday.
