You need:
• 1 sheet silver glitter foam with adhesive back
• 1 sheet (9 x 12-inches) grey felt, Tulip Glam-It-Up! Iron-On Crystals (clear finish), or self-adhesive crystals
• Tulip Glam-It-Up! Cordless Crystal and Stud Heat-Setting Tool
• Star-shaped button (one per ornament)
• Scrap paper or lightweight cardboard
• 24-gauge silver wire
• Scissors
• Wire cutters
• Needle-nose pliers
• Glue gun and glue sticks
• Pencil

To make:
1. To make template, draw Christmas tree shape (approximately 12 cm/5 inches long) on scrap paper and cut out.

2. Trace template onto back of glitter foam sheet; one sheet makes six 12 cm ornaments. Cut out Christmas trees.

3. Cut trees horizontally into five pieces. (They don't need to be all the same size – go wild!)

4. Peel paper backing from each piece of foam and adhere to felt, leaving approximately 6 mm (1/4 inch) between each piece.

5. With scissors, carefully cut away excess felt.

6. Using heat-setting tool, adhere crystals to felt sections as desired. Tool should only touch crystal during this process; foam or felt will burn if touched. (Skip this step if you are using self-adhesive crystals.)

7. With wire cutters, cut 20 cm (8-inch) length of wire. Wind into graduated spiral, leaving approximately 2 cm (3/4 inch) of straight wire at one end. Use needle-nose pliers to wind other end of wire into tight spiral.

8. With glue gun, put small dab of hot glue at top of tree. Immediately press straight end of wire into glue; place star on top and press to adhere.
