If anyone knows me well they know that I always have snacks on me. I’m the type to get hangry on an empty stomach so having a healthy snack in my bag at all times is a must. These nomz energy bites are one of my all-time favourites! They’re good for you but they taste almost like chocolate truffles and they help to keep you full till lunch time. They also come in 4 flavours but pistachio is my go-to. My only wish is that there were more bites to enjoy in each package. —Murissa Barrington, digital assistant
I’ve been interested in trying period-specific leakproof underwear for awhile now, and I think this season I’ll take the plunge. It makes sense to go with Canadian brand Knix which offers up leakproof options in three styles. The brand claims that the comfortable underwear can absorb un to 3 teaspoons (about 2 tampons worth) of leaks, period blood or sweat, which could make all the difference this month. —Alexandra Donaldson, fashion & beauty editor
The latest issue of goop—called “Sh*t No One Says—is out now. As a daily reader of the site, it’s no surprise I ordered the issue (actually, purchased an annual subscription) weeks ago. Like the previous two issues, this one is sure to be filled with witty articles, wacky wellness trends and conversation-starting topics. —Renée Reardin, senior digital editor
Goop Magazine Annual Subscription, US $30, goop.com.
If you find it hard to kick your afternoon soda craving, then this product might be for you. The fizz and intense flavour make this product taste like soda, but the ingredients won’t contribute to a sugar high (and the inevitable crash). Instead, this prebiotic soda focuses on probiotics which stimulate good gut bacteria. There’s no added sugar, no caffeine and works with diets like those you are vegan. My pick is the Ginga’ Kick flavour which is has ginger and turmeric for a bit of kick. —AD
With the new season comes another excuse for me to get a new lunch bag. I’m loving this Kate Spade lunch bag. The pink and white rugby stripes feel cute and playful, plus I can even fit my endless supply of snacks inside thanks to its deep bucket design. —MB
Kate Spade New York lunch tote - rugby stripe, $35, indigo.ca.
While everyone else runs to get their first PSL (pumpkin spice latte) of the season, you can find me sipping an autumnal-inspired tea instead. While I’ll be opting for a classic pu’erh blend, you could test out some of the brand’s more seasonal offerings—like Pumpkin Chair or Cardamom Macchiato. —AD
Davids Tea Organic Silken Pu’erh, $8 (50 grams), davidstea.com.

My electric toothbrush is fine, but as soon as I saw this cool (metallic!) one by Quib, I realized it's not as cool as it could be. This one sort of shakes rather than spins, making it gentler (essential for my sensitive gums)—plus it can basically act as a pretty accent piece on my bathroom vanity. —RR
Electric Brush, US $45, getquib.com.
Though we likely haven’t seen the end of warm weather, there’s something about the beginning of fall that makes me want to embrace my bathtub again. I’ll be making sure to add salt to the tub as I soak to help ease muscle pain and soothe skin and aches. —AD
Live Clean Spa Therapy Soothing Salts, $9, amazon.ca.
