Method
In small bowl, combine Date Purée, vinegar, tomato paste, tamari sauce, onion powder and sriracha. Set aside.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook, stirring, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add tofu; cook, stirring occasionally, until tofu begins to brown, 6 to 8 minutes. Add reserved sauce and toss to coat tofu evenly. Serve with brown rice, steamed sugar snap peas and chopped green onion, if desired.
