This sparkling refresher makes a great nonalcoholic alternative at a summer party. If you don't have a crowd, refrigerate the syrup separately from the sparkling water and mix a glass at a time.

Method
In saucepan, bring sugar and water to boil, stirring to dissolve. Let cool completely.In blender, purée raspberries with lime juice until smooth; pass through fine sieve to remove seeds. Stir into sugar mixture.
Pour into pitcher; stir in sparkling water. Serve over ice.
