Stove-Top Rice:
In saucepan, bring water and salt to boil; add rice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in fresh parsley and butter.
Rice Pilaf:
In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onion, garlic, dried herbs, salt and pepper for 5 minutes. Add rice; stir for 1 minute to coat. Add chicken or vegetable stock; bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. If desired, add frozen vegetables about 15 minutes after adding rice.
