In large shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, pepper and salt.Spread 4 of the slices of bread with mustard; sandwich cheese, turkey and ham with remaining bread. Dip each sandwich into egg mixture, turning to soak well.
In large nonstick skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat; cook sandwiches, turning once, until crusty and browned and cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
