Spread Dijon mustard over 4 slices of bread; top each with a slice of cheese. Cover each with a slice of bread. Spread outside of each sandwich with 1/2 tsp (2 mL) butter.
In skillet, fry sandwiches over medium heat until golden brown and cheese has melted, about 4 minutes. Or cook in sandwich press or grill.
