In bowl, beat egg with mustard. Stir in Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, salt and pepper; mix in turkey. Shape into four 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick patties.

Grill, covered, on greased grill or in grill pan over medium-high heat, turning once, until no longer pink inside, about 10 minutes.

Smoky Cheese Mayonnaise:
Stir mayonnaise with barbecue sauce; stir in cheese.

Split buns; spread with mayonnaise mixture. Sandwich burgers, avocado and tomato in buns. Makes 4 servings.
