In large bowl, toss together plums, apples, sugar, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon; spread in lightly greased 8-inch (2 L) square glass baking dish.Crumble: In bowl, whisk together rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. With fingers or pastry blender, rub or cut in butter until mixture is in coarse crumbs. Scatter over plum mixture.
Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven until bubbly, fruit is tender and topping is golden, 40 to 60 minutes.
