Biscuits: In bowl, whisk together all-purpose and whole wheat flours, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until in coarse crumbs. Using fork, stir in milk to make ragged dough. Set aside.In large bowl, toss together peaches, sugar, flour and lemon juice. Transfer to 8-inch (2 L) square glass baking dish. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven for 20 minutes.
Drop dough by 9 heaping 1 tbsp (15 mL) onto hot fruit mixture. Bake until biscuits are golden and no longer wet underneath, about 50 minutes.
