In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy, 1 minute. Beat in egg and vanilla. In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture. Stir in oats, cornflakes, raisins and chocolate chips.Drop by generous 1 tbsp (15 mL), about 2 inches (5 cm) apart, onto parchment paper–lined baking sheets. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven until edges and tops begin to brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool on pans on racks.
