These chocolate and peanut butter haystacks are the perfect holiday treat for when you’re pressed for time. Easily customize them to suit your taste or dietary preferences by replacing the peanut butter with almond butter or your favourite nut butter. You'll love our White Chocolate Haystacks, too!

Method

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. In large heatproof bowl set over saucepan of gently simmering water, melt chocolate chips, stirring, until smooth. Stir in peanut butter and salt; fold in noodles until coated.

Spoon by heaping 1 tbsp onto prepared pans; sprinkle with candies. Refrigerate until firm, about 20 minutes.

Makes about 48 haystacks.
