Toronto Underground Market: A couple delicious bites

The Toronto Underground Market is a fun event which showcases new cooks and chefs by allowing them to setup shop and display their best street-food-inspired dishes for a hungry crowd. It's usually setup at the Brick Works -- a gorgeous space with an industrial feel which houses a series of food-related events year 'round. There is good music, a fun atmosphere and an opportunity to try a lot of different kinds of dishes. Is it the best food you'll ever have? No. But is it fun? Absolutely. Here are my favourite bites from last Saturday's event -- a lamb meatball and rapini soup from Fidel Gastro's food truck and a brisket slider with smoked tomato aioli on a brioche bun from the folks of Stoke Stack Barbecue. Yum!
