I first discovered pi'lo -- a store filled with charming tea towels, napkins, pillows and other small accessories a few years ago at the One of a Kind Show. All the items are hand made in Toronto, and have a distinctively charming and whimsical look. My favourite from their collection? Their 'Make' apron: it's made of sturdy linen and is perfect for any busy day in the kitchen. I don't need any excuses to get cooking, but if you do this is a good place to start!
